Pre-School

We are currently accepting reservations for 3-5yr olds for the 2011/2012 pre-school year. Classes run Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 11am. Tuition is $70.00 per month and $30 registration fee. Tuition is due the 1st preschool day of each month.

Schedule

Circle Time: We talk about our theme for the week, weather chart, calendar and pledge of allegiance. We also read a story to match the theme for the week.

Music and Movement: We have fun learning new songs and dancing to them as well.

Learning Time: This is where we play games that help with counting, alphabet, colors, shapes, and more. They are short and each child gets several turns. The games are always theme based and so the children feel like they are always new. We also do worksheets and time at the magnet board with magnetic letter, numbers and flashcards.

Craft: The children will work with paint, glue, pens, crayons and many other supplies. They will develop skills tracing and cutting and create a craft integrated into the lesson.

Learning Time: This is where we play games that help with counting, alphabet, colors, shapes, and more. They are short and each child gets several turns. The games are always theme based and so the children feel like they are always new. We also do worksheets and time at the magnet board with magnetic letter, numbers and flashcards.

Snack: Always healthy and delicious.

Recess: This is ten minutes to get fresh air and the wiggles out.

Special Activity: This can include a nature walk to hunt for bugs or listen for certain sounds or other sensory activities.

Free Time: We always end with free time to give the children the opportunity to develop their imagination, and work on sharing and manners. Weather permitting we will be in the backyard with the zipline, pirate ship, airplane teeter totter, and swingset. Free time is 5-10 minutes long.
